As soon as spring/summer arrives, colour definitely makes more of an appearance in my wardrobe, but there is something about sage green for spring that I just love.
I can’t seem to get enough of it right now and when I saw this pretty sage green floral dress from Chicwish I just knew I had to have it.
It’s a chiffon material with a tired skirt, ruffle sleeves and lace details around the collar. It’s the perfect day dress.
Day dresses have always been something that was lacking in my wardrobe, I guess growing up I mainly wore dresses for evenings out and rarley would go for days out lunching etc but as I’m getting older, and I am going out out less… a lot less right now haha, I wanted to start getting some more day time dresses.
This type of dress is ideal for spring because of It’s high neck and long sleeves. As much as I am loving finally seeing the sunshine again, the weather isn’t particularly warm outside, or not warm enough to be sat out for a long period of time in a little dress or shorts I should say, so this is a much warmer option.
I also think this would be a fab dress for holidays if you’re going away before the summer season which I often do in usual times.
